Transparency Act

The Transparency Act (Act 2021-06-18-99) was adopted by the Norwegian Parliament and entered into force on 1 July 2022. The purpose of the Act is to promote companies’ respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions, and to ensure public access to information about how businesses manage these responsibilities.

In accordance with Section 5 of the Transparency Act, Petrolia NOCO AS is required to publish an annual statement detailing the due diligence assessments conducted under Section 4 of the Act. This includes identifying, assessing, and managing actual and potential adverse impacts on human rights and working conditions in our own operations and throughout our supply chains.

Petrolia NOCO AS has chosen to publish this statement separately from its annual report.

Our Transparency Act Statement outlines:

  • The company’s approach to responsible business conduct

  • Due diligence processes

  • Key findings and risk areas identified

  • Measures implemented or planned to address any adverse impacts

The statement is publicly available and can be accessed here:
